Trey's First Warn Monday AM Forecast (9/26) - Cooler overnight lows this week - Crossroads Today

2022-10-01 09:46:13 By : Mr. King Zeng

Today: Sunny and hot. High: 93. Winds: SE 10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, Low: 71. Winds: Light.

Tuesday: Sunny and hot. High: 90. Winds: N 10 mph.

Synopsis: Hot and dry daytime highs to continue, however, a cold front will push through late Monday into Tuesday, which will bring in dryer air. This dryer air will allow our overnight lows to drop into the low 60’s Tuesday through Sunday mornings. Highs will still be near 90, because dry air heats up rapidly in the daylight hours, the opposite happens at night, radiational cooling. Ian looks to be an issue this week for the west coast of Florida. The high pressure over Texas will protect us from Ian moving our way. Unfortunately this week, rain chances just about zero, maybe an isolated rain shower early Tuesday with the front. ~ Trey
