TEMECULA, California, July 27, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - The clean energy and industrial gas group (group) of Nikkiso Cryogenic Industries, a subsidiary of Nikkiso Co., Ltd (Japan), proudly announces that they have completed re-commissioning in India An air separation plant in Patancheru, Hyderabad. The project was completed in coordination with Telangana Government (TEL) and Greenko Foundation (GKO).
Due to the ongoing pandemic crisis in India, the Indian government issued an order to restart operations and LOX production to meet the urgent demand for medical oxygen. GKO has leased the closed old oxygen plant from Air Water India Private Limited (AWI) for a period of (2) two years.
In May 2021, the Group cooperated with GKO to re-commission the factory. Nikkiso Cryogenic Services provided key technical support and spare parts, including nozzle actuators and vibration components, and Nikkiso Cosmodyne India Pvt. Co., Ltd. provided on-site service support. Critical components that usually take 12-14 weeks are provided within three days to support this urgent request. By June 22, the site was fully operational again.
