Hyderabad: According to the press release, MVS Engineering, a well-known on-site oxygen production solution provider, has established an on-site PSA oxygen production plant at Vijaya Healthcare Hospitals in Secunderabad, with a capacity sufficient to support 50 to 100 hospital beds. Before the PSA oxygen plant, Vijaya Healthcare used to extract oxygen supplies from spare liquid oxygen tanks and steel cylinders. "The hospital's oxygen plant will increase the supply and ensure that patients are always provided with an uninterrupted, reliable and foolproof oxygen supply," said ED Siddharth Rastogi of MVS Engineering Pvt Ltd. Dr. Narasimha Rao, director of Vijaya Health Care, said that transporting oxygen supplies from remote locations is a big problem. "Oxygen generation should occur where oxygen consumption occurs. In addition, according to the Clinical Institutions Act, the existence of a mini PSA oxygen generator has become the minimum standard for hospitals with more than 50 beds," he added.
